Union makes strength.
Yours too.
Food, healthcare and schooling for families in Haiti. There are four useful things you can do towards it, and three of them cost nothing.
Give by phone or email.
We don’t take card payments on this site yet. To give, call us or send an email and we will arrange it with you directly — by cheque, bank transfer, or whatever is easiest at your end.
Tell us if you want your gift to go to a particular part of the work. If you don’t, we put it where it is needed most that month.
PATCH is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. Gifts are tax‑deductible to the extent allowed by law, and we will send you a receipt.
Food, health, school.
- Food
- Relief for families in Gonaïves and Ouanaminthe who go without nutritious food.
- Healthcare
- Access to adequate healthcare for people the public system does not reach.
- Schooling
- The school supplies and equipment children need, and access to the teachers who use them.
- And the programmes
- Teaching hours at the vocational training centre in Gonaïves, and the seed, tools and training behind the women’s entrepreneurship programme.
Not everything useful is money.
Lend a skill
We are a very small team. Accounting, grant writing, translation between English, French and Creole, teaching, agronomy — if you do one of those, an afternoon of it is worth a great deal to us.
Partner with us
Churches, schools, clinics, diaspora associations and foundations: we are looking for people already working in the Artibonite and the Nord‑Est who would rather coordinate than duplicate.
Send supplies
School books, materials and classroom equipment go directly to children in the communities we serve. Get in touch before shipping anything so we can tell you what is needed and where to send it.
How we ask for money.
We raise funds by post and by email, by contacting people individually, and by telephone. We apply for foundation and government grants, and we accept donations made through other websites. Fundraising is conducted primarily in Massachusetts.
We may use any other means available to a nonprofit corporation operating within our stated religious, charitable and educational purpose in order to raise money for these programmes.
Ask us anything first.
We would rather answer a question than take a gift from someone who isn’t sure where it goes.
